MSF Group
Expansion beyond borders

The MSF Group began the internationalisation process in 1997 with the creation of MSF Engenharia’s International Division and the intelligent selection of primary target markets including Africa, Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Commercial activity abroad was also initiated in 1997, particularly in Africa, with the first contract being awarded in Cape Verde in May of 1998 for the extension of the runway at Sal Airport. Additional contracts have been awarded since.

MSF Group activity has expanded into other countries such as Angola, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana,  Kazakhstan, Moldavia, Mozambique, Namibia, Oman, Poland, Qatar, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal and Sierra Leone, highly benefiting from the Group’s extensive amount of experience and extremely competent levels of service.

The Groups’ international presence is closely aligned with enhanced responsibility in managing large-scale construction works that, in turn, contribute enormously to the development of the countries in which MSF operates, improving the quality of life of the populations as a whole through the design and construction of large and technically complex engineering projects.

The Group also has branch offices in Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Kazahkstan, Mozambique, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Senegal and Sierra Leone, fulfilling company duties through subsidiaries based in Angola (MSF Engenharia Angola, Lda.), Bulgaria (MSF Bulgaria – OOD), Cape Verde (MSF Cabo Verde, S.A.), Moldavia (MSF Ingeniere & Constructii), Poland (MSF Polska Sp. Z o.o.) and Qatar (MSF Construction Qatar).
